As a Buyer, you will handle purchasing activities across distribution and production while monitoring health and safety programs. You'll collaborate with suppliers to guarantee on-time deliveries and communicate any changes effectively. Your role includes generating performance reports and adhering to company purchasing policies, providing crucial input for enhancing product flow.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor health and safety protocols during purchasing activities
- Execute purchasing tasks for distribution and production
- Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
- Maintain robust relationships with suppliers for timely product delivery
- Track order statuses, shipping, and delivery details
- High School diploma required; post-secondary is an asset
- 3-5 years in Supply Chain or Operations procurement
- Excellent communication and MS Office skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems and mathematical reasoning
- Continuous improvement experience preferred
