Position: Supply Chain Specialist Role at HERD
Become a key player at HERD as a Supply Chain Specialist in our Springfield office. Maximize our supply chain effectiveness through strategic management and deep supplier relationships.

As a full-time specialist, you will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager and work alongside various departments, enhancing our operational performance. Responsibilities include procurement, inventory analysis, and resolving supply issues efficiently to support our manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage purchase orders and monitor production deliveries

• Optimize inventory levels through trend analysis

• Maintain accurate compliance records in procurement

• Build and evaluate supplier relationships for quality assurance

• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers

Requirements:

• 2+ years in procurement or supply chain management

• Proven experience in supplier negotiation

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• High attention to detail in managing priorities

• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
