Do you enjoy a combination of hands‑on work and customer service responsibilities? If so, join our team as an Account Manager and play a key role in delivering exceptional service while supporting inventory management and operational excellence at our customer location in Winnipeg, MB.
This position is fully on‑site at a large manufacturing facility in northwest Winnipeg and offers a balanced mix of office and warehouse‑floor responsibilities. Approximately 50% of your time will be spent performing administrative and customer service duties, while the remaining 50% will involve hands‑on inventory management and material handling activities.
What You’ll Do- Managing inventory replenishment, cycle counts, audits, and stock organization
- Receiving, moving, storing, and putting away inventory as required
- Tracking parts and inventory transactions
- Quoting and sourcing parts to meet customer requirements
- Expediting orders and managing inventory levels to prevent shortages
- Providing technical product and part information to customers
- Entering orders and maintaining accurate system records
- Running reports and analyzing inventory and sales data
- Building strong customer relationships through daily on‑site support
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve service and grow the business
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure timely delivery
- Excellent customer service and relationship‑building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical thinking and strong organizational abilities
- Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Mechanical aptitude; technical training or a related degree is considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
- Ability to repetitively lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to start work at 6:30 a.m.
