Winpak Procurement Specialist Position

Join Winpak's dynamic team as a Supply Chain Coordinator based in Winnipeg, Manitoba for a one-year term. Drive procurement processes by sourcing high-quality goods and optimizing supplier relationships.

As a vital member of the Procurement Team, you will report to the Supply Chain Supervisor. This role emphasizes effective sourcing, procurement, and quality assurance practices, ensuring all activities comply with company standards. Your negotiation skills will facilitate best-value agreements while managing supplier performance and inventory levels effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the procurement of indirect goods and subcontracted services

• Record and maintain supplier data within ERP systems

• Prioritize orders and manage delivery schedules with suppliers

• Foster positive relationships with business unit peers

• Assess vendor compliance for inventory management agreements

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years in inventory or supply chain roles

• ERP purchasing experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for budgeting tasks

• Enrolled in SCC SCMP program is advantageous
