Procurement Assistant Supply Chain Co-op

Build procurement experience with NFI Parts™ through purchase orders, supplier communication, and accurate supply chain records. This student co-op supports daily purchasing activities.

The Category Assistant supports the procurement team with order processing and supplier coordination. You will use Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, while gathering supplier information and procurement data. The position also supports supply chain efficiency through documentation, reporting, and cross-department collaboration.

• Enter, update, and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system
• Investigate supplier invoice discrepancies with finance teams
• Request supplier quotes, lead times, and product availability
• Track orders, update statuses, and expedite deliveries
• Maintain procurement records and compile data reports

• High School Diploma
• Enrollment in post-secondary Supply related education
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP systems is an asset
