The Head Caretaker oversees routine maintenance and the daily operations of the school’s physical facilities. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you'll communicate regularly with the Principal and manage a dedicated cleaning staff. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct cleaning staff for effective facility maintenance

• Conduct routine inspections for safety and cleanliness

• Monitor HVAC systems and respond to malfunctions

• Maintain custodial equipment and inventory supplies

• Assist in the evaluation of caretaking staff

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Valid 5th Class Power Engineer’s Certificate preferred

• Two years of experience in building operations

• Strong English communication skills essential

• Ability to lift up to 20 kg (45 lbs)
