Position: Temporary Caretaking Role
Embark on a key role at Pembina Trails School Division as a Temporary Assistant Caretaker, focusing on maintaining clean and safe school facilities during evening shifts. This position is crucial for student welfare.

As an Assistant Caretaker, you'll engage in keeping the school's environment pristine by performing detailed cleaning tasks and working alongside the Head Caretaker. You will also be responsible for managing custodial equipment and training replacement staff, ensuring operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and sanitize assigned areas effectively

• Clean bathrooms and common areas regularly

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely

• Provide orientation to casual staff on duties

• Ensure security and safety of the facility during shifts

Requirements:

• Education level of at least Grade 12

• Experience in institutional custodial work preferred

• Capable of lifting weights up to 20 kg

• Excellent English communication skills

• Ability to interact positively with students and staff
