Position: Service Advisor (Steinbach)
Location: Steinbach

Job Summary

Join Our Steinbach team and help deliver an exceptional customer experience. We are seeking a highly organized, customer‑focused Service Advisor to support the efficient receipt, processing, and return of goods brought in for repair, maintenance, or upgrade.

Responsibilities
  • Receive all incoming items for repair or service, accurately record customer information and concerns, and clearly explain service processes.
  • Open, manage, and close work orders in a timely and organized manner.
  • Ensure that all relevant information is collected and provided to the service technicians.
  • Arrange logistics for equipment into and out of the service department.
  • Maintain communication with the customer throughout the work and ensure a perfect delivery of the completed job.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude, including an understanding of basic mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with agriculture and large agricultural equipment.
  • Excellent customer service on the phone and in person.
  • Ability to shift priorities and switch tasks.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and outstanding follow‑up skills.
  • Typing 30 wpm or faster.
  • Familiar with computerized operations and Microsoft Office programs; ability to learn new systems.
  • Adaptable with a demonstrated ability to continuously learn new information and apply it.
  • Cheerful disposition, positive "can do" attitude, and good public presentation.
  • Current driver’s license and clean abstract required.
Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in a busy service center or repair shop is preferred.
  • High‑school completion required; post‑secondary training considered an asset.
  • Technical or mechanical qualifications are an asset.
