Help maintain a clean and safe space in the role of Facility Cleaner at The Salvation Army. Your contributions will support a welcoming environment for those in need.
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks that play a vital part in the operations of The Salvation Army. As a Facility Cleaner, your focus will be on ensuring the upkeep of the facility and external grounds. Candidates with up to three months of prior cleaning experience are encouraged to apply to help us uphold our mission of dignity and service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure cleanliness of washrooms, floors, and windows
• Manage lawn care and snow removal tasks
• Handle furniture assembly and cleaning duties
• Verify building security by checking doors and windows
• Spot wash walls and maintain overall cleanliness
Requirements:
• Completion of Public School education
• Previous cleaning experience preferred (up to three months)
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and safe handling
• Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment
• Preparedness to manage some hazardous tasks
