In this dedicated role, you’ll inspect and repair a variety of furniture types, including wood, fabric, and leather, to ensure they meet quality standards. You'll also interact with customers at their homes, providing on-site repairs and expert advice, making your communication skills crucial. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and effective documentation practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess furniture condition and determine repair needs
• Use various techniques to restore furniture effectively
• Deliver exceptional service during in-home repairs
• Complete all relevant documentation and inventory control
• Keep service vehicle organized and stocked
Requirements:
• High School diploma with 2 years of related experience
• Solid experience in upholstery and leather repair
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Physical ability to lift 50 – 100 pounds
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract
