Maintenance Technician, HVAC

Job Summary

Tilray Brands is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support production and facility equipment at our Winnipeg and Ste Agathe locations. Your role will involve troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensuring equipment reliability to maximize production uptime.

• Perform troubleshooting, preventive and predictive, and diagnostic maintenance on production and facility equipment inside and outside the plant.
• Complete work orders and verify that repairs meet quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Enter all work order information into the COGZ Maintenance Management Program.
• Communicate and collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to ensure efficient plant operation.
• Recommend and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiencies.
• Repair and maintain HVAC systems for the Winnipeg plant and assist with HVAC repair and maintenance at the Ste Agathe plant when needed.
• Respond to on-call and after-hours emergencies for equipment breakdowns.
• Assist with general building repairs and maintenance indoors and outdoors (carpentry, snow clearing, emergency exits, trim, spray weeds, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned by the organization.

• 3 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience (food production plant experience is an asset).
• Mechanical trades licensing as HVAC technician and gas ticket preferred.
• Strong mechanical background and ability to perform a variety of maintenance activities.
• Experience with building maintenance, carpentry, welding, plumbing, refrigeration mechanics, etc. is an asset.
• Experience maintaining preventive and ongoing maintenance programs.
• Proficiency in CMMS COGZ and MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Flexibility to respond to issues outside of regular working hours.
• Strong equipment troubleshooting skills.
