Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Position: Facilities Maintenance Specialist Opening
Join the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries (MBLL) team as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. This role focuses on urgent service requests, daily maintenance checks, and achieving high standards across all facilities.

As a vital team member, you will complete preventative maintenance checklists, conduct daily checks of building automation systems, and respond promptly to service requests. Your work will involve facilities upkeep including plumbing, lighting, and repairs ensuring everything runs in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to and prioritize service requests daily

• Complete preventative maintenance and log documentation

• Conduct water treatment tests and maintain chemical logs

• Inspect and care for external grounds and lighting

• Operate valves, pipes, and HVAC systems effectively

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 preferred

• At least two years experience in building maintenance

• Certification from BOMI or equivalent needed

• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License required

• General knowledge of computer programs, especially Microsoft 365
