Facilities Operations Head Caretaker

Take charge of facility management as the Head Caretaker in Winnipeg, MB with Pembina Trails School Division. Lead cleaning, maintenance, and safety operations at Linden Meadows School.

This position oversees all aspects of facility upkeep, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for staff and students alike. You'll be responsible for routine inspections, cleaning tasks, and general maintenance of building systems and grounds. Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with administration regarding maintenance and safety issues

• Inspect facility and grounds for hazards and cleanliness

• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks daily

• Direct and mentor caretaking staff effectively

• Maintain equipment and requisition supplies as needed

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent

• Valid 5th Class Power Engineers’ Certificate

• Two years of relevant building operations experience

• Strong English communication skills

• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside regular hours
