Class 5 Engineer Maintenance Supervisor

Direct maintenance and repairs at Eden Mental Health Centre as a Class 5 Maintenance Supervisor. Ensure all contractors are managed effectively to maintain facility operations.

Under the guidance of the Quality and Operations Manager, the Class 5 Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance activities at Eden Mental Health Centre. This role requires expertise in repair coordination and efficiency in executing preventative maintenance tasks. You will act as the primary contact for contractors and ensure high standards are upheld during all activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign and coordinate maintenance tasks for optimal service

• Supervise contractors and monitor maintenance performance

• Schedule outside contractors and review billings

• Ensure accuracy in work order completion and reporting

• Delegate responsibilities to maintenance and grounds staff

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 mandatory

• Valid 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate needed

• Previous experience in healthcare maintenance for one year

• Supervisory experience within maintenance environments preferred

• Other education and experience combinations considered
