In this pivotal role, reporting to the Quality and Operations Manager, you will direct the maintenance operations at Eden Mental Health Centre. Your responsibilities will encompass repairs, routine maintenance, and contractor services, requiring a strong understanding of facility management and team leadership. Proficiency with a 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and optimize maintenance workflow for efficiency

• Manage contractors for building upkeep and maintenance

• Arrange necessary contracting services and evaluate performance

• Verify accurate completion of work orders as required

• Delegate tasks appropriately to maintenance personnel

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent education required

• 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate essential

• Minimum one year experience in healthcare facility maintenance

• Supervisory background in maintenance preferred

• Other relevant education and experience combinations accepted
