This part-time position at The Salvation Army requires a motivated Housekeeper who can ensure cleanliness across various spaces, manage laundry, and carry out minor maintenance.

Your role is vital for the building's overall hygiene and safety, entailing the use of cleaning and industrial equipment while prioritizing security and maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep facility rooms, washrooms, and floors clean and organized

• Conduct minor repairs in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry

• Provide laundry services and ensure supply management

• Inspect and secure facility entrances and exits

• Oversee outdoor cleanliness, including gardening and snow removal

Requirements:

• Minimum three months of cleaning or maintenance experience

• Certification in First Aid/CPR and Hepatitis vaccination required

• WHMIS and crisis intervention training necessary

• Clear criminal and abuse registry checks

• Must be able to lift 20+ pounds and use cleaning equipment
