Position SummaryWarehouse Maintenance Technician I
Type:
Full time / Permanent
Wage: $27.00 per hour + $1.75 shift differential
Shifts:
Wednesday 1:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m., Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Location:
Winnipeg, MB
- Complete routine lubrications, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical warehouse equipment.
- Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance procedures.
- Assist and monitor work performed by outside contractors.
- Maintain inventory controls for cost‑effective operations.
- Handle special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
- Ensure safety standards are followed in compliance with company, local, city, state, and federal guidelines.
- Support and participate in lean initiative activities within the warehouse.
- Investigate and problem‑solve mechanical issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Independent and team player.
- Adaptable to fast‑paced environments.
- Multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time‑management and follow‑up proficiency.

- High school diploma or GED (preferred). General high school subjects.
- Two (2) years or more of experience in maintenance repair and preventive maintenance programs.
- Equipment certification may be required.
- Must pass a Ryder background check. DOT regulated. No travel required.
Depending on location, employees may need to operate equipment and hold relevant certifications. All candidates must pass a Ryder background check. The position is safety sensitive and DOT regulated.
