Utility Person at Riverview Health Centre

Become part of the team at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg as a Maintenance Utility Person. This in-person role focuses on preventative maintenance and repair tasks in a healthcare setting.

In this position, you will assist with mechanical tasks for furnishings and equipment within the Plant and Property department. A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required, showcasing your abilities in building maintenance. Knowledge of WHMIS standards and basic computer skills are also essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems

• Assist with repairs of furnishings and equipment

• Follow safety procedures in material handling

• Maintain records for maintenance activities

• Support the Facility Support Services Team

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience in maintenance tasks

• Grade 12 education required

• System Maintenance Technician certificate preferred

• Basic knowledge of computers

• Current Criminal Records Check and other screenings
