Pool and Arena Service Attendant

Enhance public enjoyment as a Building Servicer 2 – Arena and Outdoor Pool Attendant. This role combines custodial duties and maintenance skills for year-round use.

You will actively engage in the servicing of both ice arenas and outdoor pools, ensuring safety and cleanliness. The position demands adaptability and proficiency in custodial, maintenance, and customer service practices, required for successful day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate maintenance equipment like Zamboni and snowblowers

• Maintain cleanliness in all pool and arena areas

• Test and ensure compliance of pool water quality

• Report safety hazards and inventory needs promptly

• Open facilities and perform safety and building checks

Requirements:

• Background in custodial duties and equipment use

• Valid Manitoba Driver’s License is required

• Must obtain required safety and first aid certifications

• Knowledge of WHMIS and safe material handling

• Ability to work day, night, and weekend shifts
