Facility Manager at Dakota Community Centre

Lead the operational excellence of Dakota Community Centre in Winnipeg, MB as Facility Manager. This hands-on role focuses on facility upkeep, staff management, and safety standards.

We are looking for a proactive Facility Manager to oversee daily operations in our multi-use complex. You will manage ice maintenance, HVAC systems, and the entire facility's safety. Your leadership will help create a welcoming environment for the community while ensuring that all maintenance systems are effectively monitored and developed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operation of the facility and staff

• Oversee arena ice maintenance and necessary repairs

• Ensure HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems are functioning

• Build and implement a preventative maintenance schedule

• Develop and monitor facility maintenance budget

Requirements:

• Experience in facility management, preferably recreational or municipal

• Strong knowledge of HVAC and building systems

• Excellent people-leadership and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of workplace health & safety standards

• Manitoba 4th Class Refrigeration Power Engineering certificate
