Evening Warewasher at WRHA

Become a core part of Winnipeg Regional Health Authority's Nutrition & Food Services as an Evening Warewasher. This role focuses on cleaning and ensuring the sanitation of essential service ware and trays.

The position at WRHA includes disassembling soiled patient trays, washing, and inspecting service items for cleanliness. You will be working primarily evening shifts and weekends, engaging in activities requiring physical strength like lifting and sorting dishware. Previous food service experience is an advantage in this supportive health care role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble and wash patient trays and service ware

• Inspect cleanliness and sort items after washing

• Operate equipment safely during shifts

• Maintain refrigerated storage areas for cleaned items

• Use automatic lift devices for tray removal

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food service is beneficial

• Grade 10 educational requirement

• Strong English communication skills

• Capable of standing for 90% of shifts

• Pass a Criminal Records Check
