Join Shared Health as a Housekeeping Aide to provide essential cleaning services within healthcare facilities across Manitoba. Help ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff through diligent cleaning practices.
As a Housekeeping Aide, you will report directly to the Supervisor while undertaking various cleaning tasks in multiple settings like cafeterias and patient units. Experience in a similar role is beneficial. On-the-job training will to be provided for successful candidates to enhance their effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete thorough cleaning in assigned areas such as offices and laboratories
• Clear walkways and entrances from hazards such as ice
• Assist during emergency cleanups after floods or maintenance
• Alert supervisors about safety or maintenance issues
• Follow all health and safety guidelines while cleaning
Requirements:
• Previous relevant cleaning experience is a plus
• Must communicate effectively in English
• Physical capability to manage cleaning duties
• Knowledge of Indigenous languages is preferred
• Clear criminal background checks required
