Become a Maintenance Supervisor at Southbridge Care in Scarborough, Ontario. This full-time role focuses on maintaining a safe living environment for residents through diligent oversight of maintenance operations.
You will report directly to the Environmental Services Manager, performing general maintenance tasks and supervising service operations in our care home. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that both residents and staff enjoy a safe and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute Preventive Maintenance and Demand Maintenance Programs
• Complete various repair tasks including installation and plumbing
• Ensure operations of mechanical and life safety systems
• Maintain logs of completed maintenance activities
• Provide support to the department manager when needed
Requirements:
• High School Diploma with trade certification preferred
• Two years of supervisory experience in a similar role
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work safely
• Experience with safety regulations such as WHMIS
• Recent vulnerable sector check required
