Join the Pembina Trails School Division as an Evening Assistant Caretaker, dedicated to maintaining school cleanliness and safety. This temporary role requires collaboration with the facilities team.
As an Assistant Caretaker, you will play an essential role in keeping the school environment clean and welcoming. A minimum of Grade 12 education is required along with custodial experience in an institutional setting. Ideal candidates possess strong English skills for effective communication and the ability to work well with others.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute planned cleaning tasks in specified areas
• Care for and maintain custodial equipment
• Assist in orientation for replacement staff
• Check facility security protocols at shift closure
• Prepare spaces for user groups and events
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Experience in custodial work is a plus
• Good physical condition to perform required tasks
• Capability to lift 20 kg and carry it short distances
• Must communicate effectively in English
