Janitor, Maintenance​/Cleaning, Cleaning Services

Selkirk GM is
looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Custodian to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout the dealership, including the showroom, offices, customer areas, washrooms, and staff facilities.

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the facility, including;
• Washing windows, interior walls and ledges
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors, stairs and operate floor scrubber
• Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures
• Clean furniture such as chairs and desks
• Perform seasonal cleaning tasks
• Other duties as assigned

• Previous cleaning/custodial experience is preferred
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
• Successful candidate must be a able to work on Saturdays
• Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the job, which may include, but are not limited to; standing, walking, bending, twisting and reaching for prolonged periods of times. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
