Senior Living Maintenance Technician

Apply maintenance skills at Cogir Senior Living, repairing facilities and equipment while delivering superior customer service to residents. Work independently across daily operations.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Aide completes routine repairs and minor maintenance operations. Duties cover electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, grounds, and building needs. The role also includes inspections, reporting, housekeeping, safety practices, and work involving vulnerable adults.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute routine repairs on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building systems
Paint, perform minor carpentry, and maintain exterior grounds
Inspect premises for maintenance and safety concerns regularly
File required reports with the supervisor
Continue housekeeping and maintenance duties when assigned handyman responsibilities
Requirements:
Follow oral and written instructions in English
Work independently and self regulate effectively
Move heavy objects and perform necessary physical duties
Carry out minor facility and equipment repairs
Provide or obtain a current Vulnerable Sector Check
Support Cogir residents through dependable facility repairs, safety inspections, grounds maintenance, and respectful customer service every day.
