Maintain clean, safe Fresh Departments at Walmart’s St. Vital Centre location while following food safety and cold chain guidelines.
This Maintenance Team Associate participates in a structured maintenance cleaning program. The work supports a clean shopping and working environment while controlling expenses. You will communicate with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperate with associates across cleaning activities. Duties include maintaining coolers, freezers, display fixtures, floors, carpets, and non-sales floor areas. You will also inspect equipment, monitor supplies, and complete required in-store certification programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean Fresh Department coolers, freezers, and display fixtures
- Follow food safety standards and cold chain guidelines
- Inspect maintenance and cleaning equipment for proper condition
- Ensure sufficient cleaning supplies remain available
- Clean floors, carpets, and non-sales floor areas
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Complete required in-store certification programs
- Follow Company policies and procedures
- Work safely in shopping and working environments
Support Walmart’s St. Vital Centre operations through Fresh Department cleaning, equipment inspection, and food safety compliance.
