Your Role
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Winnipeg.
In this role, you’ll join our team of experts to help lead and deliver major capital building and infrastructure projects for institutional clients. You will be at the forefront of ensuring your projects not only meet but exceed client expectations, while having a knack for building strong and trusting client relationships.
You are highly organized and have a keen eye for detail, leading projects from start to finish. Your ability to oversee multiple projects through the entire project lifecycle will be key in driving these projects to success, from identifying and addressing gaps to controlling costs and ensuring clear, effective communication.
Responsibilities
Develop strong client relationships and act as the client’s single point of contact throughout the project to achieve the client’s goals and objectivesDevelop strong client relationships and act as the client’s single point of contact throughout the project to achieve the client’s goals and objectivesLead programs or work and large capital projects, varying in size and scope.Manage all stakeholders including both clients and consultantsEnsure that client expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded on all projects and the client’s best interests are represented with respect to contractual and technical issuesSelect and organize project teams and establish levels of authority and lines of communicationLead the control of project related documents and deliver all work in accordance and compliance with Colliers Project Leaders Quality Management System and proceduresChair project and site meetings, find resolution to issues and coordinate between multiple stakeholdersMaintain contact with existing and prospective clients and respond to business development and sales opportunities with support from the Business Development Team, Principal or Regional Vice PresidentReport on project status by means of schedule updates, meeting minutes, financial records and other reportsProvide oversight and leadership to the change management process, payment certificates and other contract or project related administrative documentsQualifications
A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience.A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, representing owners to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of projects of varying size and scope.PMP designation is a definite asset and will be supported to completeExperience building and nurturing long-term client relationships and working collaborativelyExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsStrong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Projects)Don’t have every single qualification?
