The Role

Imagine the excitement and ability to show off your incredible skills in a deployed environment (overseas) for six months managing morale and welfare operations for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and partner nations from across the world!

The Senior Manager oversees the planning, coordinating, managing and control of the operations and delivery programs including physical fitness, sports, recreation, home leave travel programs (HLTA), barbering, accounting, retail operations and special events for deployed operations. You ensure programs delivered are relevant to the enhancement of operational performance. You advise the Commanding Officer/senior military officer on programs and policies, and provide guidance and direction to team members on the delivery of services.

You also ensure the well‑being of your entire morale and welfare team.

The Senior Manager will utilize their previous managerial experience, coupled with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to provide the highest level of service to Canadian and/or partner nation clientele. Interaction and briefings with local and outlying (based on mission location) military senior level Chains of Command are vital to the success, and delivery of consistent mission‑critical programs, services and information.

The Senior Manager also plays an important role in enhancing the morale of CAF members by providing direct customer service to Canada and its partner nations in a deployed setting, underpinned by a high level of customer service, while receiving support from Headquarters.
