Manager of Dangerous Goods & Building Maintenance

Oversee dangerous goods compliance and building maintenance as our new Manager. This aviation role requires strong regulatory knowledge and leadership in training and safety practices.

In the role of Dangerous Goods Manager, you'll report directly to the Director of Cargo and Ground Operations. You will manage compliance with dangerous goods regulations and coordinate maintenance programs. Your ability to lead training sessions and facilitate communication regarding DG policies will be crucial. Maintaining respect for First Nations communities will also be part of your mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead DG compliance training and documentation

• Monitor SMS reports for DG-related incidents

• Manage policies and procedures related to DG

• Liaise with regulatory agencies on compliance

• Conduct targeted audits and quality checks

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Minimum one year of DG experience in aviation

• Solid understanding of dangerous goods regulations

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

• Awareness of Indigenous cultures is an asset
