About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director to play a pivotal role in the organization's next phase of growth and impact. This senior leadership position is focused on translating the company's ambitious vision into practical action, with a strong emphasis on strategic partnership, internal communications, and organizational readiness. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, taking ownership of the conditions that enable the execution of the company's strategy.

This includes providing strategic leadership over critical enabling functions, aligning them with externally oriented work, and acting as a bridge to strengthen integration across the organization. The role also involves executive functioning, governance, and maintaining a strong understanding of the external environment to connect relevant developments to the company's internal strategy.

Applicants for the Managing Director role at the company should have substantial senior leadership experience, a track record of delivering complex organizational work, and a strong background in operational and organizational leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead through organizational evolution, with strong coaching and conflict facilitation skills. Exceptional communication, cross-cultural competence, and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders are essential.

A background in feminist funding, gender justice, or a related field is valuable, and candidates from adjacent sectors are encouraged to apply, provided they have a strong understanding of power, equity, participation, and feminist values. The role requires a candidate with strong judgment, self-awareness, and relational intelligence, who can thrive in an ambitious, creative, and evolving organization.
