As Superintendent, Forestry Services, you will plan and execute work for Transmission and Distribution Right-of-Ways. You will manage internal and external resources, coordinate programs, support emergency response, and maintain quality, cost, schedule, and compliance expectations. The position reports to the Director of Forestry.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan forestry capital, maintenance, and restoration services
Manage internal and external workforce resourcing requirements
Coordinate work programs for cost, schedule, and quality
Schedule crews and optimize crew mobilization
Direct emergency response within the defined Zone
Requirements:
Team leadership and workforce development capability
Strong safety awareness and safe work practices
Strategic business thinking and technical knowledge
Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical thinking
Client-service orientation and effective communication
Apply forestry operations, workforce leadership, safety awareness, and strategic decision-making across Hydro One’s Southern Zone services.
