Lead IFRS reporting and consolidation as Director, Financial Reporting & Consolidation, guiding accurate disclosures, statements, and regulatory filings. Work closely with senior executives.
This high-profile leadership position oversees complex external financial reporting for a sophisticated, growing organization. You will lead consolidated statements, MD&A, annual reports, and regulatory filings. The role requires technical accounting expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership across multiple legal entities and business segments.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead quarterly and annual consolidated financial statement preparation
- Oversee MD&A, disclosures, annual reports, and regulatory filings
- Coordinate reviews with leadership, counsel, auditors, and stakeholders
- Analyze variances and communicate business drivers to executives
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes
- 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Strong IFRS and consolidated financial statement knowledge
- Public company or complex multi-entity organization experience
- Canadian and U.S. regulatory reporting experience, including SEDAR+ and SEC EDGAR
- SOX and internal controls over financial reporting expertise
