What We Offer
  • 3rd Class Power Engineer: $32.82/hour
  • Millwright Dual Ticket: $39.01/hour
  • Electrician Dual Ticket: $39.91/hour
  • Day shift:
    Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
  • Overtime and call-ins required as needed

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate and maintain boilers and utility systems
  • Prepare and monitor starch batches for production
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and repair steam plant issues
  • Maintain accurate logs and system readings
  • Follow all maintenance and safety procedures
  • Assist with plant start-ups and shutdowns
  • Work closely with production and maintenance teams to reduce downtime
  • Qualifications
  • Valid 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate (Manitoba)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Solid understanding of safety programs and procedures
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
