As a Stockroom Clerk
, you’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the stockroom area. You will be responsible for the overall operations and processes, and for coordinating efforts between all departments. Accuracy meeting strict deadlines is of high urgency.
What you’ll do:
Performing incoming receiving inspections in accordance with Quality procedures.Receiving parts and material into applicable inventories.Issuing parts and materials to work orders per reservations or requests, issuing parts to sales orders.Processing incoming and outgoing piece parts per the applicable DWI’s (Detailed Work Instruction).Operating the forklift to receive deliveries or send shipments.Processing rework partsCompleting inventory audits and investigating discrepancies. Submit audits to the supervisor for approval.General administrative tasks and duties to ensure department efficiencies.Housekeeping, all responsible areas to be kept clean and tidy.Develop and manage Continuous Improvement initiatives in your assigned area.Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent1+ years of experience managing multiple tasks or projects while meeting deadlines.1+ years of demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks independently with minimal direction.Dedicated commitment to providing superior, timely internal and external customer serviceProven ability to analyze situations, make effective decisions, and contribute to team problem-solving; preferably with 1+ years in a team-based environment.High attention to detail with good computer skills.Desire to grow, learn and work in a team environmentA keen focus on health and safety, productivity & throughput, quality and continuous improvement.Desired
Skills:
Experience in the field of logistics, shipping, warehouse or transportation is an assetForklift certification or ability to obtain would be an assetBenefits that make life better:
