Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Lead GEMBA walks and identify process improvements to enhance operational excellence.

Motivate and manage operators to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality output.

Keep accurate records of production data, training logs, and machine maintenance.

Communicate progress and challenges effectively with upper management.

Deliver training on machine operation, safety, and production processes.

Assess and coach team members to improve their skills.

Operate and oversee production machines, ensuring smooth operation and performance.

Perform periodic adjustments and calibration of equipment.

Learn and contribute to Quality Assurance responsibilities.

Adhere to the Zero Harm Protocol and report safety concerns.

Participate in CBSQ and 5S initiatives.

Complete other assigned duties and projects as directed by the Production Supervisor.

Education and Experience

Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent).

Previous experience as a Trainer, QC Backup, and completed at least six months as a Machine Tender.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge and Skills

Basic verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.

Ability to work in a variety of roles.

The pay range for this position is $ - $ Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $ to $ Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role.

The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
