The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Assembly Technician to join our Winnipeg production team. In this role, you'll assemble and install mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components that go into ODRA's industry‑leading sweepers. You'll work with a supportive team, receive on‑the‑job training, and help ensure our products meet the high standards our customers expect.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality
- Inspect parts and assemblies to meet ODRA quality standards
- Install and wire sensors, harnesses, control modules, and other electronic components
- Assist with hydraulic system routing, installation, and testing
- Perform functional testing and basic troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a positive team environment
What You Bring
- 3-6 months of experience in assembly
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or willingness to learn
- Comfort working with common hand tools and power tools
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work in a team environment
- Experience with hydraulic or electrical systems is an asset (not required)
- Overhead crane and forklift experience is an asset (training provided if needed)
