The Production Operator - Blender is responsible for conducting paint drawdowns, preparing, and blending customer orders to meet their specifications, documenting work orders and formulas, and maintaining all color-matching and mixing equipment.

: $20.54- $26.69 hourlyPrepare customer orders, including blending, adjusting, filling, and labeling batchesOperate tinting and mixing equipment and material handling equipment in an efficient and safe mannerMake shade and gloss adjustments to meet customer requirementsEnsure customers’ quality and service expectations are metPerform inventory controls and keep quality standards highKeep tools, equipment, and work environment clean and organized dailyMaintain production records and reporting as requiredCommunicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersEnsure compliance with policies and procedures including safety, loss prevention, and securityFollow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulationsMinimum Requirements:Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employmentMust be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in EnglishMust be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasionPreferred Qualifications:Have at least one (1) year of work experience mixing or blending raw materials and making a product in an industrial batch processHave at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts,Have at least one (1) year of work experience monitoring gauges, dials, or other machinery indicators to ensure proper operation of machineryHave at least one (1) year of work experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goodsHave at least one (1) year of work experience operating machinery in a manufacturing and/or distribution environmentHave at least one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing and/or distribution facilityHave prior work experience operating tinting or color matching equipment
