Job Overview
Reporting to the Vice-President as the Cabinet Assembler you are responsible to assemble cabinets according to specifications. You ensure work is efficiently completed in compliance with standard quality and safety protocols.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Assembling and building cabinets according to design specifications.
Utilizing various power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
Ensuring all work is plumb, level, and meets quality standards.
Collaborating with team members to plan projects and manage timelines.
Assisting in other areas of production as required.
Working in an organized and safe manner, adhering to Qualico’s Safety Program and relevant safety regulations. Reporting incidents or near-miss incidents immediately to management.

Essential Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year experience as a cabinet maker or similar carpentry role.
Proficient in using power and hand tools relevant to cabinet making.
Physically able to kneel and crouch as well as lift, carry, push or pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination and situational awareness of physical work environment.
Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate in Cabinetry and Woodworking is preferred.

Work Conditions
You primarily work on site during regular business hours. Evening shift: 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm. Work has exposure to noise from equipment/machinery and occupational hazards as well as dealing with inclement weather and dust. Overtime may occasionally be required.
