Become a Materials Planning Specialist at New Flyer, contributing to efficient production through expert material management. Your strong MRP skills will enhance operational success.
In this role, reporting to the Materials Planning Manager, you'll be responsible for all materials planning activities. With 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, you will ensure materials align with production needs and continuous improvement goals. Your command of MRP systems, along with effective use of Oracle and Excel, will aid in meeting inventory targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee planning activities for production support
• Manage material flow to POU locations effectively
• Monitor parts during production builds
• Maintain high inventory accuracy
• Assist leadership in budget adherence for materials
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years in a manufacturing setting
• Strong understanding of MRP systems
• Initiative-driven with organizational abilities
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• APICS credential is an advantage
