SHIPPER; Slotter Off - Back Shipping

Position: SHIPPER (Slotter Take Off - Back up to Shipping )

Opportunity  Production Slotter Take‑Off – Back up to Shipping (Mississauga). Requires counter balance/tow motor experience (Propane). Wage: $28.98 daily. Rotating shifts including Midnight (10 pm‑6 am), Afternoon (2 pm‑10 pm), Day (6 am‑2 pm). Paid as Shipper when providing shipping support: $30.24.
Responsibilities   Safely operate and maintain press equipment and machinery to produce quality products per company policy.
Operate tow motor and complete paperwork to prepare and load goods for shipment.
Perform duties of Production/Slotter Take‑Off: set up and operate machine, verify specifications, keep supply of bottom sheets, stack units per customer requirements, inspect for non‑conformances, take off machine at set standards, complete timesheets, follow ISO and HACCP procedures, report problems.
Perform duties of Shipper (temporary supplementary function): hold valid tow motor permit, verify counts, load trailers/trucks for maximum space, document damage and obtain delivery slips, inspect for non‑conformances, conduct daily tow motor checklist, report issues.
Adhere to safety responsibilities: lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, report hazards, use PPE, maintain clean environment, follow plant rules, keep fire equipment clear.
Qualifications   Valid tow motor permit and more than three years of experience driving counter balance / tow motor – propane.
Minimum High School Diploma.
Manufacturing experience an asset.
Basic math, machine operation, organization, communication skills.
Adaptable to rotating shifts, team player, self‑starter.
