Lead manufacturing excellence as Operations Manager at Niagara Falls in Ontario. Drive performance in HSE compliance, quality standards, and profit-maximizing strategies within an industrial chemical environment.
You will oversee the Operations team, responsible for production scheduling and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) while implementing key performance indicators (KPIs). Your role requires fostering a culture of accountability, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with critical regulations while collaborating closely with leadership to achieve operational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Operations team and monitor performance metrics
- Manage production schedules with Superintendents and Planners
- Develop and oversee departmental budget and expenses
- Drive Operational Excellence and STAR Factory initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Ontario safety regulations
- B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years in Operations within chemical manufacturing
- 5+ years of leadership in manufacturing preferred
- Experience in union management environments
- Robust analytical and communication skills
