Take on a critical role as a Skilled Welder in the evening shift at GEA Drummondville. Focus on producing high-quality equipment for bovine and porcine livestock operations. At GEA Drummondville, your expertise will be vital in interpreting plans, adjusting metal pieces, and ensuring accurate welding assembly. We seek candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience, who can confidently operate welding machinery and maintain safety standards in their work.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret technical drawings and welding symbols clearly
- Prepare metal components for precise assembly
- Calibrate welding machines based on project needs
- Correctly assemble components with proper tension
- Detect and rectify welding defects to meet quality standards
- DEP or AEC in welding or similar qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of hands‑on welding experience
- Fluent in French for effective communication
- Strong ability to work independently and accurately
- Good organizational and leadership skills
