• The candidate must be able to operate manual, semi‑automatic, or fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi‑automatic flame‑cutting equipment.
• The candidate must use oxygen‑arc cutting equipment (AOC).
• The candidate must determine the weldability of materials.
• The candidate must use hoisting and lifting equipment.
• The candidate must operate pre‑set welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• The candidate must operate pre‑set brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams in metal.
• The candidate will maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

The candidate should be fluent in English.

There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Candidate having experience is an asset.
