Begin your journey in sheet metal with an apprenticeship role that combines training and hands-on experience. This onsite position requires a registered apprenticeship certificate and relevant work experience.
Ideal for those with 1-2 years of sheet metal experience, you'll focus on manufacturing and assembling ducts essential for HVAC systems. Additionally, you will read blueprints, measure materials, and guide junior apprentices in the workshop, fostering teamwork and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manufacture and assemble ducts in the factory
• Read blueprints and specifications for work requirements
• Measure and mark sheet metal as per templates
• Instruct and guide apprentices in the workshop
• Cut materials using hand or power tools
Requirements:
• Registered Apprenticeship certificate required
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
• Certification as a Sheet Metal Worker
• Valid driver's license and own transportation
• Dependable attitude and safety-first mindset
