In this vital role, you will inspect and grade ferrous and non-ferrous metals, ensuring efficient recycling operations. You will also operate forklifts and skid steers—previous experience is beneficial but not required. Your contributions will be essential in meeting our operational goals and preserving our commitment to high-quality metal recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, inspect, and grade scrap metals accurately

• Keep the work location organized and efficient

• Ensure safe operation of forklifts and skid steers

• Break down materials by commodity and discard non-conforming items

• Successfully pass a criminal background check prior to hiring

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar setting

• Forklift or skid steer experience is an asset

• Ability to follow safety protocols

• Willingness to work during designated hours
