Position: Grain Handling Facility Assistant Role
Paterson Grain is hiring a Facility Assistant in Winnipeg. This full-time position involves hands-on activities in grain handling and maintenance, suitable for physically capable applicants.

The Facility Assistant will be essential to grain operations at our Winnipeg terminal. Key responsibilities include receiving, storing, and loading grain while keeping facilities safe and clean. Ideal candidates must possess a mechanical aptitude and are capable of lifting 25KG, while being available for evening and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the receiving and storage of grain materials

• Ensure proper conditions of stored grain are monitored

• Clean and maintain grain facility and equipment

• Lift grain and materials up to 25KG

• Assist in routine repairs and maintenance as necessary

Requirements:

• Experience in agriculture or mechanical work preferred

• Willing to work evenings and weekends

• Prior grain elevator experience is a plus

• Physical ability to work outdoors and at heights

• Strong mechanical skills and work ethic
