OEM Welder Heavy-Duty

Position: OEM Welder for Heavy-Duty Applications
Contribute your welding expertise to a prominent CNC machine shop in Argyle, MB as an OEM Welder specializing in railway components. This position requires your adherence to certified welding standards during Monday to Friday shifts.

In this three-month contract role, you will utilize your skills in SMAW and GMAW to fabricate heavy-duty steel parts while collaborating with machinists and quality teams. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will play a vital role in upholding the quality of our manufactured products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct SMAW and MIG welding on railway steel components

• Analyze blueprints and welding symbols for accuracy

• Operate welding tools safely and efficiently

• Inspect welds visually for compliance with standards

• Maintain a tidy and secure work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• CWB or Red Seal welding certification mandatory

• Minimum of 2 years in stick welding

• Knowledge of CNC processes is advantageous

• Ability to lift and handle heavy materials
