Position: Full-Time Metal Shop Technician
Join a dynamic team as a Full-Time Metal Shop Technician in Winnipeg, MB. This hands-on role focuses on sheet metal production and offers a pathway to a Red Seal apprenticeship.

In this union position, you will work Monday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, contributing to the production of sheet metal products while assisting with daily operations. Key responsibilities include assembling, custom fabrication, and maintaining CNC brake settings. Strong math skills and the ability to operate equipment like forklifts are vital to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble sheet metal products from sketches and specs

• Assist in custom fabrication and troubleshooting projects

• Maintain CNC brake settings for repeat orders

• Operate and assist with standing seam machine

• Monitor and maintain sheet metal inventory

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Experience in material handling preferred

• Strong math skills and tape measure accuracy

• Basic computer skills in Outlook and Excel

• Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
