Join Redpath Sugar Ltd. in Toronto as an Engineering Team Lead for the Raw Sugar department, driving continuous improvement initiatives in a busy manufacturing environment. This leadership role requires an engineer or technologist with a minimum of 5 years in process engineering, a solid mechanical aptitude, and proven success in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. You will work collaboratively with various teams to assess operational needs, troubleshoot challenges, and execute innovative solutions for enhanced production and quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee improvements in equipment throughput and operational efficiency
- Partner with other teams for effective troubleshooting
- Implement recent technologies to improve process reliability
- Manage loading production procedures and scheduling
- Track and reduce downtime in operations
- B.S. degree in Engineering or related field
- Recognized technical abilities in manufacturing systems
- Solid project management skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
